Have you ever felt that you needed a guide when you were struggling in your relationship? When I look back at my own relationship, I think, "If only I had a mentor to guide me, I would be in a much better position." For example, miscommunication abounds in relationships, especially when we text on mobile devices. On Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad Campus, organized the art exhibition of a Russian Artist, Mr. Yuri M. Kozlov. He is also the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Pakistan. The event was not only pivotal from the artist's point of view but can also be marked as a milestone in Pak-Russia bilateral relations.
What made it a Mega-Event?
His Excellency, Mr. Alexey Y. Dedov, Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, was the chief guest of the event, along with the ambassador of Belarus, COMSATS Institute dignitaries, and other officials were also present.
The event is historic
The event was historic from the bilateral relations point of view of Russia and Pakistan. Pakistan and Russia have maintained a complex relationship, often characterized by political and diplomatic distance, and occasionally marked by antagonism, particularly during the Cold War era. However, the snow now seems to be melting as more interaction is taking place between the governments and people of both countries. The dignitaries also signed agreements to enhance academic ties between Russia and Pakistan.
Who attended?
Students, government officials, media, and a considerable number of foreigners flocked to the event and turned it into a successful event. The artwork was a treat to watch as around 30 paintings were displayed. Let's have a look at some of his distinguished artwork:
