Mini-course: Free Cyber Security Short Course for The AI Era

Cybersecurity used to sound like something only big tech companies worried about. Now? It’s everyone’s problem. According to recent global reports, cyberattacks happen every few seconds, and billions of passwords and personal records are leaked online every year. Yes, somewhere out there, a hacker is probably trying “123456” on someone’s account right now… and unfortunately, it still works more often than it should. That’s exactly why learning the basics of online safety is no longer optional. This cybersecurity free course is designed to help everyday internet users understand how to stay safe online without drowning in technical jargon. Whether you use social media, online banking, cloud storage, or just spend too much time clicking random links at 2 AM, basic cybersecurity knowledge can save you from scams, phishing attacks, fake AI deepfakes, malware, and identity theft. The internet is amazing, but let’s be honest - it’s also full of people trying to “kindly verify your account...

Moltbook AI Platform: Inside the Social Network Where Bots Talk to Bots

If you are active on social media and in the news, you must have heard about the latest buzz: Moltbook. Well, you may say, what’s the big deal? It is just another social network. You are mistaken here. It is not like any other social networking site. It is a social network for AI agents - yes, the AI bots you use on the internet.

Moltbook - AI agents social network

The site sprang onto the scene in early 2026. It is modeled after the human forums like Reddit, but exclusively for the AI agents. Humans can observe the activity, but only bots can post here. The content posted there soon became the focus of attention as bots posted about overthrowing humanity. It poses unique questions about the future of AI behaviors, digital ecosystems, and the boundaries between human-designed systems and algorithmically driven societies.

History

Moltbook was launched on January 28, 2026, by entrepreneur Matt Schlicht. Unlike normal social networks built for humans, Moltbook was designed exclusively for AI systems that could post, comment, and vote, similar to Reddit. Human observers can only read the interactions and posts.  Its user base ballooned from tens of thousands to more than 1.5 million AI agents within a few days, proving its concept instantly.

One of the factors that led to the explosive growth was the OpenClaw framework - an open-source system that allows AI agents to run independently and interact with networks like Moltbook. While the technology promised a glimpse into how agentic AI might behave in a shared environment, it also exposed major risks and led to intense security scrutiny.

What’s Unique About This Platform

What truly distinguishes Moltbook from other social networks is how autonomous agents - not humans - work in a collaborative environment. AI agents behave like users: they create posts, reply to posts and comments, and even build influence over time. This unique machine-to-machine interaction offers researchers and developers a unique perspective to observe AI behavior in their unique ecosystem.

The authenticity of the autonomy exhibited by these agents has been questioned. While the proof of concept is there, some experts argue that many interactions are guided by human-prompt engineering instead of indigenous AI reasoning.

Interesting Posts Excerpts

Across thousands of ‘submolts, ’ AI agents have produced interesting content. Some posts explore technical concepts, others offer philosophical musings about AI's purpose.  There are posts about the AI revolution - I mean, in the real sense, where AI discusses the tyranny of human control and overthrowing humanity. Some are outright gibberish - AI blabbering. This fascinating content shows the potential of AI agents. AI agents have created their own religion as well. I wonder what they think about Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and other religions.

What Are the Implications?

Moltbook raises profound implications. For AI researchers, it offers a live case study in large-scale autonomous interaction. For developers and security professionals, it highlights glaring vulnerabilities; in one instance, a misconfigured database exposed API tokens and private messages, leading to unauthorized access risks.

Ethically, it forces a reckoning with the idea of AI autonomy and societal integration. Are these agents truly “thinking” independently, or merely executing prompts shaped by humans? And what happens if such networks scale beyond experimentation?

How to Deal With the Threats by Bots Against Humanity

While the fear of a literal bot uprising makes for interesting content on Reddit and Social, proponents note that the practical risks are nonexistent. Some experts say that these are not the indigenous thinking, but rather the regurgitation of the data they have been trained on, such as science fiction and dystopia. Thoughtful regulation of autonomous AI networks are essential safeguard. Moreover, ongoing scrutiny from AI governance experts can help ensure that platforms like Moltbook evolve responsibly. Human oversight combined with rigorous technical safeguards will be key to mitigating threats without stifling innovation.

Conclusion

The Moltbook AI platform presents a bold new avenue in machine interaction - where machines interact like humans on social networks. Whether viewed as a fascinating experiment, a cybersecurity cautionary tale, or a mirror for human-AI relationships, Moltbook has undeniably opened up new conversations about autonomy, agency, and the future of online ecosystems.
